1. The Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend - The Saturday of any three day weekend is pretty good regardless, but let's face it, a three day weekend in May compared to January or even August is really not much of a debate. The weather is perfect, and everyone is getting together for BBQ, picnics, etc. for the first time in months. Just a great feeling to that day. Totally agree, but for me it's the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend. I always leave work around noon (if I work at all) and there's just something so awesome in the air. I invite some friends over, pack a cooler of beer and some Ls, sit out by the pool, crank up some Sublime and some Bob Marley, it's just heaven. Ha, I left at noon on Friday.  I went with Saturday because you can chill the whole day.

I read an article about him in I think Rolling Stone how they’d been together for a while and finally, FINALLY as they are about to release their breakthrough album, he goes and ODs. Not only that but the article stated that the reason he said that he even did drugs in the first place was because he felt like he was expected to, being in a band. Like it was putting on a uniform in a way. Newsflash - you’re Bradley Nowell from Sublime, a glorified frat band, you’re not Keith Richards or Jim Morrison channeling this awesome music from the astral planes. |

Sublime played a show here a few days before he ODed, he got his shit here, they played a show near San Francisco, and after that he died. Sad story. It's too bad, Sublime was a pretty good band and Nowell was a talented songwriter. Who knows how they would have progressed. |

Top 10 Underrated Days of the year. 1. January 2nd. Western civilization has switched on Christmas the day after Labour Day. By the end of November I'm already tapped out. The only solace is family right around Christmas Eve/Day & Boxing Day. January 2nd is like losing 25lbs of mental baggage without even trying. 2. Daylight savings Spring ahead. What can I say, that's my unofficial new year. Days get a little bit longer & warmer for weeks & weeks. 3. July 1 Canada Day. Not sure about July 4th, but this one's gained some major Christmas Day in July spirit the past 10-15yrs or so. No other holiday is so literally all about doing absolutely nothing but partying outside if you feel like it, & fireworks. Some holidays can be a chore, not this one. 4. February 3rd or so. When Canada begins having more minutes of daylight than not. 5. May 1. My favourite month of the year. 6. Halloween. Of the commercial holidays, this one is underrated because November is all but a dead zone. I don't really like fall until it stops teasing summer's end either. 7. First day of Winter. Fall scuks, it blows. Wet & dark. Bring on renewal. Snow covered lawns look better at night than muddy leaves. 8. Christmas Eve. Running out of underrateds, but Eve still delivers a nostalgic buzz of yore. 9. Easter. I like how it pops up at a different time each year. 10.June 1. Summer getting into full gear.

Yes Jessica Parker Kennedy was in season 5 of Flash, based on what i have seen of her on Flash and the other show she did Black Sails between 2014 and 2017 i would say she can act.
