Top 10 rubies... 1. Vindaloo 2. Madras 3. Jalfrezi 4. Balti 5. Neehari 6. Naga 7. Thai red 8. Modhupuri 9. Ajmeri 10. Rogan Josh NB... anything milder than Rogan Josh is not curry. Good to see you finally mention a thai curry. Thai food is my fav. But Burmese should get more respect. May be there is lack of Burmese restaurants but I have been having some amazing Burmese cuisines lately. Today I had a sincerely hot Burmese soup. And vegetarian one. They are much more hotter than Thai. Almost India level hot.

There have been flamethrowers in baseball, and then there was JR Richard. That guy was NASTY.

Top 10 Sandwiches 1. Cheesesteak 2. Italian Hoagie 3. Hot Roast Beef with Provolone 4. WAWAs Turkey Gobbler 5. Chicken Parm 6. BLT 7. Meatball with Provolone 8. Italian Grinder 9. Sausage, Onion, Mushroom, Pepper Grinder 10. Grilled Cheese with Ham, Bacon and Tomato Great list, almost. I was psyched when Wawa came out with their Thanksgiving sandwich, but was disappointed. They used lunchmeat turkey instead of real turkey. Self made Thanksgiving sandwich may top the list though. Also, no mushrooms ever!

Top 10 favorite forgotten Celtics over the last 30 years:
1. Eric Williams 1995-97, 1999-2003 (Scrappy & versatile; made timely plays, specifically during the 2002 playoff run)
2. Tony Battie 1998-2003 (Hard worker, good teammate*; helped save Pierce's life when he was stabbed)
3. Walter McCarty 1997-2005 (Maybe not completely forgotten due to the Tommy Heinsohn "I love Waltah!" phenomenon, but a solid energy player that was never considered a star)
4. Ryan Gomes 2005-07 (I considered him a steal when he fell to the C's late in the second round; solid energy player who was part of the KG trade)
5. Raef LaFrentz 2003-06 (I became a fan of his while he was teammates with Pierce at Kansas; a big man who shot threes, would've had a better career today than he had back then)
6. Adrian Griffin 1999-2001 (Ultimate role player, just made clutch plays for a bad team; as Pitino once said, "He has absolutely no ego.")
7. Wally Szczerbiak 2006-07 (I was excited when we traded for him and he played well, but ultimately was hampered by injuries in a short stint with the C's)
8. Jonas Jerebko 2015-17 (Virtually unknown played well as a surprise starter (by necessity) in a playoff series, though the C's would ultimately lose the series)
9. Luke Harangody 2010-11 (Good hustle player but really struggled shooting the ball; I thought he'd surprise us and become a solid bench contributor, but it never happened)
10. Antoine Walker 1996-2003, 2005 (Hardly forgotten, but I feel like he wasn't treated fairly while he was here. So versatile-- he started at every position in 1996-97-- and really brought a swagger to his play on what was an unwatchable team. That swagger rubbed people the wrong way for his entire career in Boston, but maybe my favorite Antoine game was his performance including a GW 3 against Miami in 1999, in a game where he had been booed mercilessly by the home crowd earlier that night. To bring things full circle with the * I posted earlier next to Battie, Battie held up Antoine's hand like a ref with a prize fighter to the crowd and pointed at him after he hit that big shot and the crowd was going crazy. That's a teammate having your back. Maybe my favorite Battie moment for that matter. 'Twoine would be much higher on the list of favorites but again he doesn't really belong on a list of 'forgotten' players so I'm stretching the criteria by including him at all.)
HM: PJ Brown, James Posey (Pretty much the entire supporting cast of the 2008 title team. Certainly not forgotten by C's fans, but not as recognized by basketball fans in general.); Rick Fox, Sherman Douglas

Top 10 herbs 1. Mint 2. Chives 3. Thyme 4. Oregano 5. Rosemary 6. Sage 7. Marjoram 8. Bay 9. Lavender 10. Parsley A few questions (if you please) 1. No Basil ? Really ? 2. What’s a good use for Sage in vegetarian cooking. I can’t think of one. It’s awesome with white meat, and cooked like a veg (sage crisped in butter for example) but what else ? 3. I’m trying to imagine lavender as a herb, and my stomach turns. Does is taste like it smells (awful) ?

I also dry it and add it to home made mixed herbs. Lavender is used in lots of cooking... You must have used Herbes de Provence?

Lavender is used in lots of cooking... You must have used Herbes de Provence? Honestly, no. Never heard of Herbes de Provence. Then again, I’m not a mixed herbs or dried herbs user (with oregano being the exception). At most I’ll use 2 herbs, and where available and practical, fresh. As an example, new potatoes with butter. Mint and Parsely is good. Parsely and chives is good. Mint, Parsley and chives is a bit too much. Maybe it’s a climate thing, but I’m just not a soup maker. And I’m glad you didn’t add coriander (cilantro). Raw coriander is inedible. It’s like eating soap.
