I hope it is just a different time period and not an actual alternate timeline. That would be silly. That could be it. Says "in an alternate timeline from the usual Star Wars universe." They really haven't done anything outside of the same 65 or so years. They might be looking at the years from EP1 to EP9 as the usual "timeline".

Is it being woke when it is women making it? Or is it being woke because it is female characters? Wouldn't woke be men saying we need to represent women? Would it be woke if they did an alternate timeline series with male leads? No It would clearly be sexist if men was making it and if men was the lead You saying the Expendables is sexist?

This chick can take her identity politics and shove it! Just tell an awesome story. Don't tell us that you have an agenda. Keep that to yourself. Tell us about the characters and their place in the story. Let us assimilate whatever you have for your agenda through the story. Don't preach to us because we'll pick up on it right away. Why aren't these people getting this? Are they going to make a Star Wars version of She-Ra and hope people will be into it for season 2?
Okay, watched the entire thing and now I get it. She's vocal LGBTQ+. They are like vegans. I hope this doesn't end up like Bryan Singer's X-men.
