i'll watch it if they make it, though i thought part 2 was the best one and thought part 3 barely had a story. i never liked when people imitated the character in public. he should mine some character from his snl days, lothar of the hill people or do a wayne's world 3, like stated. possibly do it as a mocumentary?

James Bond and spy films have changed a lot since 2003, so I would be interested in another Powers movie if it lampooned the modern era of the genre. I wouldn't expect it to be great, but I'd see it. I don't know what more you can do with the Wayne's World series.

The key thing in that article is he says he doesn't want to do another unless it's something that lives up to the concepts in his head - so he doesn't want to be another one for the sake of making another film. There something to be said for leaving things be, I'm a fan of the Austin Powers films but I feel they're something that's best left as the three films

The only Mike Myers movies I ever liked were Wayne's World and So I Married An Axe Murderer.

I think it is perfect timing for Wayne's World 3.
Moving into the digital age of broadcasting, getting older and struggling with staying relevant/partying, what became of their success at the end of the second movie...there are a lot of directions the story for the third could go.
Austin Powers was hit or miss for me. Austin himself was kind of grating at times, but I loved Dr. Evil and Number 2. Fat Bastard was another highlight, but in small doses. I appreciate Mike Myers, but I think a fourth Austin Powers is a bad idea.

Myers is a genius and my favorite SNL cast member. Austin 4 could be great, and so could Wayne 3. I'd like to see a movie version of "Middle-Aged Man" now that Myers is actually middle-aged.

Never saw any of those movies. Is there really a demand for part 4?

Never saw any of those movies. Is there really a demand for part 4? Simple answer? No, but Myers probably wants to cash in on his most popular franchise after a string of losses. Would I watch the movie? Possibly, but I didn't really like any of the series but the first, in which Myers creates an actual, sympathetic characterization, rather than a caricature, with Austin Powers. The whole point of the first is the "culture shock" between the '60s and the '90s. Neither of the sequels was able to carry forward that theme; the third is particularly hollow (with only Michael Caine providing the laughs--I'm sure he was very well-paid).

Goldmember was actually my fav of the franchise. That's rarely the case with movie franchises. They usually get worse with time.

He's a bit long in the tooth. Shelve this next to the proposed 'Coming To America' sequel.

I don't think I'd watch a part 4.

I'd watch it if Daniel Craig & Christoph Waltz co-starred.

Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) was the end of the franchise, even though it was an utter disappointment.
If he really dedicates his time and effort into a fourth installment, then I do hope it makes up for the last film. Sly Stallone did it with Rocky Balboa (2006), and that turned out to be better than Rocky V (1990).
I would like to see a third installment of Wayne's World (1992). I always thought that franchise deserved to be a trilogy.

He's said he'd like a fourth movie to happen every couple of years or so after the last one. The idea is nice, but I think the ship has sailed too much. The third one kind of forgot it was supposed to be a spoof of spy espionage tropes and got lost with too many gags, a lot of which were already played out better in the first two.

I'd love to see it. Mike Myers has always been one of my favorite comedy actors.
