Game deferred ... I mean --
PAYMENT DEFERRED / Charles Laughton

No I am pitching it
Charles Laughton in Payment deferred.
Among the things I learned is this - it is surprisingly hard to judge how difficult or easy the answers will be.
Also how hard it is to write succinct directions
I really appreciate the patience and good humour of tge players.

It was worth it, Marsha
For a first time at bat -- you blasted a homer into the bleachers!

Well The Maestro found it so I left it in. I will not add the scores together, just post them so everyone can see how it goes.
Again Thank you to all the players who participated. I would genuinely appreciate any tips anyone has. I'm not squeamish about feedback so let me know , good or bad.

I just want to know when the NEXT Marshamae Matchup is going to take place!
Hey -- if the BR was just for fun (and it was), then Spiderwort wears the golden crown!

Note to self - maybe fifty matches and 6 in the lightning round
Also come up with a better way to keep track of the scores.

Thanks Kiji. I really enjoyed your writer games too. Next to actors I am most interested in writers, least interested in directors. We should swap notes. Thank goodness for the supreme example Matt set up.

Thank goodness for the supreme example Matt set up. Thanks Marsha--And, Amen about the Garth set up. I am actually working on more "writers quizzes" but the "match ups" would be done in a different way, hopefully with some different writers too. Don't you actually enjoy constructing these things too? I mean, I wouldn't want to have to do this on a regular basis, but...it is a creative process in its own write --err, I mean..........right.

So that's how Bonus Rounds can be successful -- give 'em 14!
Now why didn't I think of that? There I was all this time offering a measly 5 or 6.
