Depending on the religious sect or faith you belong to, they all have some rule with hats.
Some say wear them in in church, some say not to. Depends if you are in church or not. Some have different rules depending on your gender.
If you are Catholic, your position in the church dictates your hat. There are different hats for the Pope and Cardinals for example.
If I were to belong to a religion, I would want to belong to one where there was a rule about hats.
Is that too much trouble?

The one hat that televangelists all agree on is the one that gets passed around during the service.
If God is so all-powerful, why does he always need money?

Some believed the hats should be red, some believed the hats should be blue, and the resulting civil war killed most of the Cat People. This astounded Lister, as he had intended the hats to be green.

So which religion is this one from? Pastafarianism You stole my punchline, however I was away and busy sorting out the Neanderthals, Catholics and Orthodox in the other headwear department thread and whether any of them should ring bells or shout about a bit!
