David Gordon Green who did Halloween (2018) is directing the pilot.

Hmmm...
Not sure how to feel about that. But after the last few sequels the idea of seeing Hellraiser with some kind of budget actually is intriguing.

That’d be pretty interesting. Still wished they bring back Doug Bradley.

They sure talk a lot about rebooting/redoing this series, eh?
*If* this ever sees the light of day, I'll give it a look, given the director. But I ain't holding my breath.

I was sort of interested, especially if it’s planned out and not some quick and cheap knock-over like the previous incarnations. However the choice of director sort of turns me off... but I guess, I’ll wait until Halloween Kills before I make a final judgement.

I mostly liked the new Halloween, but David Gordon Green does have a pretty interesting track record of some good, some less so but always interesting and sort if experimental stuff. For that reason this property actually makes a little more sense for him. And can't see it going the way of cheap and rushed nonsense they've done previously. HBO is not known for cheaping out on high profile projects.

Not sure what to think about that as a series...if it's done correctly, it could really be good. I mean there's so much history there that could be mined and made into storyline. If it happens, I'll definitely watch.
