I hardly think it is worth AMC getting their panties in a knot over the release of a kiddie Trolls movie. It is Universal's product that couldn't get a theatrical release, so they have taken an alternate route to generate some profit for the film. That is just shrewd business practice while the theaters are closed. At any rate, the "theatrical window" is selective reasoning when it comes to Netflix releases that want to win awards.
Once the cinemas re-open and Universal have a movie that will be a big money spinner, is AMC going to stick to their guns and have some integrity, or swallow their lumpy pride?
