Just an extension of the first poll I created, but I chose these two specifically because they're iconic in their own rights, but also have the deepest baritone of generally most actors today. Tony Todd's baritone is definitely lower and more gravely, but has a sinister element to it, while Christopher Lee's is more booming and profound that gives it a authoritative tone.

Lee’s voice is arguably more iconic. So is Todd, but I feel it doesn’t have as much cultural recognition.

I don't know if Lee can still be called and actor 'of today' since he is deceased, but I find his voice a bit more appealing. It's smoother and more classically nice. But Tony Todd has a great voice as well, and has a theater background too so he's got that classically trained projection and diction and all that. Both have made for great voice over tracks.

Reveals how sorry the state of horror acting is now-the only contenders are someone whose most famous horror role was 30 years ago and a dead guy.

I voted Todd. I think it’s the first thing I think of when you mention his name and I could pick it out of a crowd more easily than Lee’s.

I haven't followed Tony Todd's career--but based on his role in THE ROCK I think he could have done some interesting horror character roles beyond Candyman and NOTLD. He could be black Christopher Lee--he's imposing enough but trouble is, the horror market went lousy in the 90s. I like Robert Englund but I dont think he is alpha enough to be a horror star in the classic mode. Ditto Tobin Bell. He's kind of in the Peter Lorre range of parts but not as eccentric/interesting.
