blog.gaijinpot.com/3-edible-japanese-insects-autumn/I had studied Japanese in 1990 with two wonderful classmates Ginny-san and Peter Lawski-san. Lawski-san was studying to be a journalist and wished to work in Japan. Our classroom was a part of the shopping mall in Yaohan supermarket. So before class, we hit the cases for snacks. Yes Peter , snatched up a bowl of rice and a package of Inago (イナゴ)。 They crunched and they were yummy. He liked them.. I had natto, (ナット)which are fermented beans over rice. I hope you enjoy the article!
