It wrapped things up best it could after the last film destroyed all the carefully laid plot points. It worked. That was all I hoped for. Ending up watching Empire, I’ll give Rise a watch sometime soon. It wraps up the plot. We see Han one last time. We see Lando again We get an explaination of who Rey is & what Snoke was.
