Seem to remember Disney saying they wanted to put Star Wars on ice for a while. "STAR WARS 9 will the last film for a while. Disney boss Bob Iger says they are taking a break after The Rise of Skywalker."
So shocked they would go back on their word or not really know what they are doing.

Why couldn't they hire Denis Villenue? A very accomplished director whose well equipped in the sci fi genre and has the credibility to make a respectable Star Wars movie. Instead theyve hired this clown just because he's done a good Marvel movie (that doesn't fit what SW is). Honestly the people running Lucasafilm have never had a firm grasp of what Star Wars ever was.
