These two led female franchise was going to go head to head , not sure it will happen again. out of the two, which movie is more likely to end up on streaming. both have some pros and cons.
Wonder Woman
Pros
Sequel to a successful first film
An already stand alone successful name without any cinematic help
Gal Gadot/Chris Pine
Cons
Coviid-19 is still a big problem
female led sequels may not do as well
Black Widow
Pros
Disney hype marketing machine
MCU formula track record
Cons
Coviid-19 is still a big problem
MCU artistic backlash? ( we still don't know yet of the effects Scorsese and other directors hate on the mcu has taken full effects, I think this is now going to make many critics start admitting some harsh truth of the MCU)
Female led comic movie is still no guarantee for success and this is the first solo for black widow
Black Widow is quite boring compared to Wonder Woman
Its really hard to say which film is more likely to end up on streaming. i think if they both get cinema releases, neither would have done as well as they could but i cant say wonder woman may have earned more when i think captain marvel made more than wonder woman. i have no doubt that wonder woman would be the Superior film though.
I hope both films comes out before the year runs out, at the end it does not matter anymore if a film goes to cinema, Netflix or amazon. it does not define a great film.

You're absolutely delusional if you seriously think that these films have a chance of going straight to VOD or streaming services any time soon, especially after studios behind both films said that they won't. And even if they didn't, it's obvious that sending these to streaming services or VOD would cause a massive money sink for respective studios, at least partly due to piracy.

I doubt either movie is going straight to streaming, movie theatres and studios alike really are in need of profit and these two are among the most anticipated of the year, dropping one or both will not be too good for a lot of parties.

Neither movie is going straight to streaming. Those pros and cons are just more proof that the OP is totally delusional.

when the truth hits the fan, we shall see. You just took two idioms and mated them against their will, didn't you?

The worst part is, he wouldn't recognize the truth if it hit him in the face let alone a fan.

Once the cinemas open back up, the studios, and especially the exhibitors, will need these big tentpole movies to draw in customers. I think big movies are out for the year. let's all pray, we all survive the end of the year wonder if it is better to have a successful streamed film like the irishman or a flop theatrical release.

The amount of delusion and bias in this post is astounding.

There was very little chance that The Irishman was going to be a box office success due to the combination of unusually high budget for a crime drama and its runtime. Also, Scorsese is trying to get $225 million budget for his next film, which is going to be a crime western film, and that sounds like one massive budget waste.

The Irishman had an excuse of using $159 million due to constant de-aging and its humongous runtime. How is he going to justify that $225 million budget for his next film?

Yeah, I know what the movies is, I just don't see what could make the budget so big.. Is he trying to make something like a 4 or 5-hour film? For now, that's the only logical explanation I can come up with.

Op is a deluded fuck knuckle, no cinematic help? Wonder Woman was the only other Justice League member who got any screentime in BVS, Wonder Woman tells the backstory to the photo that draws her back into the fray in BVS also, and Gal's cred as Wonder Woman had to be established in BVS as before hand few people had any faith in her as she hadn't done anything of note except be a driver/love interest/eye candy in a handful of the Fast movies, also fails to actually give Scarlett Johanson her dues for actually being a successful box office draw in her own right with multiple successful movies under her belt under various genre's, and Nolan you wonder why no one takes you remotely seriously, you sad sack of crap.

It seems that the rules surrounding name calling have clearly lapsed. Such a pity... That aside, you're not wrong in your assessment. Where the irony truly lies is in the following statement. This was written by an individual who uses Christopher Nolan's name and photograph to represent his/herself in cyberspace.
