I am not sure, definitely better for comedy than drama though.

I thought he was way ott on Pars&Rec. But then I think he was one of the best casting choices they did for the Lion King remake. I did enjoy his show Billy On the Street. Seeing New Yorkers freak out when he came out of nowhere was always funny. I want him to host something so bad like the Golden Globes or the Oscars. But he might anger someone so bad they murder him onstage.

I wouldn't worry about him angering anyone if he were to host the Golden Globes or the Oscars, he's friends with most people in Hollywood and is pretty left leaning so he's 'in the club' so to speak. I also liked him in The Lion King, I had my doubts but he and Seth Rogen had good chemistry. He needs more time to develop into a better serious actor though, I just couldn't buy him as most of the characters he was in American Horror Story - Pretty much the only character he felt at home with was the stoned up, coked up, bisexual tech guru with goofy hair.
