On a highly superficial level; great!
Thinking about it for more than two seconds; what happens when (not if, when) players test positive?

Players aren't up for it.
And if professional footballers can travel the country and play games which ignore social distancing, so can everyone.

Issue the players and other club staff with special passes like they've been doing in France and Italy. No special passes for professional sports people. NOT an essential service. If they can play, so can everyone.

Issue the players and other club staff with special passes like they've been doing in France and Italy. Don't they go into a special quarantine like in Germany. First all have to be tested, and only those who tested are negative are allowed to join their teammates in the quarantine. In case of Bayern Munich a hotel designated only for the team. The and travels are directly to the stadiums and back to the hotel. www.br.de/nachrichten/sport/fc-bayern-bezieht-hotel-fuer-die-geisterspiel-vorbereitung,RybMg71

Gotta do it. In more important news the NRL is back on May 28 and the AFL on June 11. Both are aiming to have their Grand Finals last weekend of October.
And oh yeah, the incompetent moron who lost Rugby Australia's arse by backing out of the Israel Folau firing appeal at the last minute and also knocked back a tv rights deal, leaving Rugby with no coverage in Australia beyond this year, has resigned. Wish she'd done that before burning down the barns and salting the earth.

More so for Aussies as lately Aussies are on ascendancy.
