He was supposed to be for Toronto's lineup what Encarnacion eventually delivered. Big stick, not much else but it doesn't matter. Needless to say, he only lasted 2.5 seasons here... dealt for Tom Candiotti & Turner Ward.

Straight out of Santa Cruz, baby! 😎
Had the chance to meet and chat with Glenallen Hill a few times when he was still playing ball. Very nice guy, he showed me his World Series ring he won with the Yankees. He knew I was a Sox fan, one time I asked him which team he would least like to play for, he just smiled and said "Boston, of course".
Misguided, but nice.
