Damn, these two last you have posted really made me think of that huge needle looking skyscraper or building that is also so often frequently used in the Frasier logo or something like that. Anyway, I guess it is a Seattle icon, and just one of many reason to why I loved the show, specially the whole impressive skyline backdrop from his apartment. Space Needle - Seattle.

Vor Frelsers Kirke (The Church of Our Saviour) in Copenhagen. 400 steps to the top of the spire. The final 150 are on the outside. "The Church of Our Saviour in Christianshavn appears in a chapter of Jules Verne's A Journey to the Center of the Earth. The character Axel is made to climb the winding spire for five consecutive days by his uncle to cure him of his acrophobia before their descent into the volcano."

Used to go there all the time back in the 70s and 80s. Those WERE the days! Did you listen to the music Glen Miller played?

Songs that made the hit parade, perhaps?

CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Been outside of it, but never up it. I was virtually up it in that episode of The Simpsons where the family goes to Toronto.
"Cash Cab" films/filmed in Toronto and Vancouver. Before it sprouted to Vancouver, there was an episode that aired. One of the contestants was oblivious to it, quipping, "Oh...this happens in Toronto?!"
My response was...well....there IS a complimentary shot of the CN Tower in pretty much EVERY episode.
When I was doing deliveries and doing some maintenance on our equipment at clients, I also like going to One London Place in London, Ontario, Canada.
There is a client of ours that is on the 20th floor. After I had completed my delivery, I would go to the window, and just look out. The city looks SO peaceful from that perspective.
