I chose Bette Davis. I can't stand KH, who seemed like a boring snob to me.
On the other hand, I adore Bette Davis.

Davis is always cited by critics as the greatest female actor of the Classic Period, but when you look Hepburn's range (Bringing Up Baby, The African Queen, On Golden Pond, The Lion in Winter and particularly Long Days Journey into Night), Davis comes in second.
