Seems like Fury Road's Black and Chrome addition stared a trend. In this case it feels appropriate.
I love B&W cinema so, I may check this out. How about you, true believer?

Pointless if you ask me, I don't see how this film benefits from a B+W version at all.

Pointless if you ask me, I don't see how this film benefits from a B+W version at all. It's not going to be for everyone, especially if you don't care for black and white photography. That said, I don't think it's pointless so much as a little extravagant. Fox is obviously very proud of their work on Logan and rightly so. I thought the black and chrome edition of Fury Road added a new dimension to the film although, I wished they'd have pushed the grain a bit more.

Fair enough. I actually don't hate the film as much as I've claimed. I just get tired of Fox trolls giving us crap about it. It's a good film, but Wolverine just does nothing for me as a character. Hasn't in a long, long time.

Hasn't in a long, long time. Because they overexposed and sort of ruined the character! Even as a fan of X-Men, what's ostensibly a team book, I found the LoganMania to be obnoxious. I feel the height (or, really, rock bottom) of it was when they had him get hit with an actual ATOMIC BOMB and regrow every cell from just an adamantium skeleton. Like: good fucking grief.

To me, it was when he was every single X-Men team despite there being multiple teams and there only being one of him. There was no escaping him no matter where you turned. This is a problem that's been pervasive in both the comics and films. Hopefully, though, Logan (2017) has finally ended Loganmania in cinema. Now they just need to get rid of Bryan Singer, once and for all.
