Most Indian audiences had no cultural connect with Hollywood movies over the years. it's true even today to a large extent.
But the times, they are changing.

well, its doing very well now. the fast and the furious movies, superhero movies etc. JUNGLE BOOK actually slayed an SRK film at the box office.
