Dr. Pepper-original Mountain Dew-original Hawaiian Punch Root beer (your favourite version) Ginger beer ('' '' '') I only drink diet soda now. Dr Pepper rocks, particularly cherry vanilla A&W rootbeer Mountain Dew Ginger ale If I still drank regular soda, Hawaiian Punch would be right under Dr Pepper. I do buy the drink sticks of Hawaiian Punch. I yhink it's diet... Diet soda will kill you. |

That's how I buy my Pepsi these days.
But it's tougher to find and it only comes in cans. No 2 liters, no plastic bottles, no syrup mix.
For anyone that drinks soda enough..........the difference in taste on the tongue is very noticeable.
For those of you who prefer Coke and have never tried it, look around for 'Mexican' Coke in glass bottles. They use real sugar, too.

Silly, you shoulda given her a long article or three......maybe a few peer reviewed studies on the long term effects of diet ingredients. 
It's just another example of how often the 'cure' or replacement for something that's bad for you..........ends up being just as bad if not worse.

Sugar and corn syrup can be fattening but all things in moderation. I don’t eat or drink anything labeled diet, reduced sugar, zero calories, reduced fat, etc. |

I'll have an occasional root beer, but the last "occasion" was, probably, 8-10 years ago.
With the exception of ginger beer, which I've never had, I find the rest undrinkable.

Hawaiian Punch - Don't consider it soda because it's not carbonated but they ruined it by adding Sucralose/Splenda in it

If you have a health issue of course that’s different but why can you only drink diet as opposed to say 1/2 a regular drink? 16 tsps of sugar in a can of coke. I'm diabetic. Not even 1/2 can. Not even juice more than a few sips. Usually take a 'tax' from my kids when I really want juice.
