Wolfsburg needs to break its six-game no-pot streak v Dortmund. Surely about time. They have conceded two fewer goals this season than Dortmund but have only achieved 50% of Dortmund's pottage, with 36 playing 72.
Wolfsburg: Casteels, Mbabu, Pongracic, Brooks, Roussillon, Schlager, Arnold, Steffen, Mehmedi, Ginczek, Weghorst. Subs: Pervan, Brekalo, Klaus, Horn, Marmoush, Knoche, Tisserand, Victor, Justvan.
Borussia Dortmund: Burki, Akanji, Hummels, Piszczek, Hakimi, Guerreiro, Delaney, Dahoud, Brandt, Hazard, Haaland. Subs: Hitz, Reyna, Sancho, Can, Morey, Balerdi, Schmelzer, Gotse, Raschl.
Home 3/1 Away 17/20 Draw 3/1

Where's the chanting and noise coming from, then? The dug-outs can't be making all this row by themselves. It sounds like fans outside the stadium but it might not be, or is the game being responsibly screened outside the ground? No, wait - the commentator has just enlightened on '17. It's recordings over the PA. They must have relative soundbites for certain pieces of action occurring on the field.

The commentator is not sure about the "crowdtrack" and prefers it where he can only hear the voices of players and staff. "You can learn an impressive array of international cuss words," he says. They're gonna struggle for pot action here if they don't get lively soon.

The sound man gets it so wrong and cranks up the home roar as a through ball is played past the centre line and is intercepted easily by Hazard and nothing comes of it at all.

Nothing-one. Hazard sends one into the area, Haaland's effort is thwarted but Guerreiro nets the keeper's parry.

Treble down as Slutsk and Brest fail to penetrate.
The crowd 'noise' works for me, if not for the commentator. More effective than the silly cardboard cut-outs in the seats, and FC Seoul fined $80,000 last week for employing 5,000 plastic blow-up sex dolls for their game v Gwangju.

Hummels has not come back for the 2nd half, very involved in locking out Wolfsburg so far. This could give the home side a glimmer of opportunity as it begins to rain lightly on some of the cut-outs. If they are of good quality they will not wilt. Wolfsburg molest the bar minutes into the half.

Sportal distancing goes out the window as Arnold thuds one straight into the sardine tin of a Dortmund wall on the hour. Now a drive from Steffen forces the save from the Dortmund goal. Come on, cries the tape.

It's a goal. Hakimi collects from Steffen for 0-2 on '78. Steffen surged forward and played a delicious touch for Hakimi to pounce on.

Oh, that's torn it. Sub Klaus goes in on Dortmund's Akanji. He molested the back of his leg but was it recklessly deliberate? Not to my eyes. But here comes the ref after consulting the pitchside VAR screen. He's reaching for his back pocket. A cry of 'NOOO!!" bellows pantomime-style from the loudspeakers as he shows Klaus the red card. Wolfsburg down to ten with minutes to play.

The tape whistles shrilly as 4 minutes of injury time is announced.

It's all over as the tape ref blows up. Wolfsburg's drought v Dortmund continues, but the result bodes well for the midweek clash of Dortmund v Bayern who play later.
Also, Lutz Pfannenstiel is about the best co-commentator I've heard in a long time, quite the opposite to most who make a habit of feeding off the main commentator with stupid add-ons or jumping in with their own inane comments at every opportunity.

I managed to get the last flight out.
