Yes. The show was 'about the characters' for me. The End landed what I wanted. I didn't embrace 6 seasons of character flashbacks & forwards to be upset about mysticism. Besides, the island was there long before the Losties, & will be there long after.

Yes. The flash sideways were actually quite emotional at times, especially in the last half hour.

I loved “Lost” while it was on. Never before and never since has there been a TV show of which every new episode was a highly anticipated event for me. Immediately after the end of each episode I would jump on the IMDb boards for the show to discuss it and see what others were saying.
I bought all the DVDs as they were released and long before the finale I remember planning to rewatch them all as soon as the last season became available. After the disappointment that was the final episode, I didn’t bother.

Back in 2010, I was already disappointed with season 6 before arriving to the finale... which I actually liked. The idea of the final scene made me question the logic behind it, but it didn't contradict anything presented in the series. However, it retroactively made the flash-sideways scenes throughout the season less good. 10 years later... No, my thoughts haven't changed.

Worst endings of all time along with Battlestar Galactica and GoT.
Too many loose ends.

Get enough fans to sign a petition, maybe they'll redo it.

Get enough fans to sign a petition, maybe they'll redo it. www.change.org/p/hbo-remake-game-of-thrones-season-8-with-competent-writers1.8 million+ signed this one to no avail, and about 1.8 million+ of them never expected anything more than the opportunity to express their discontent. It's a nice and well deserved face slap for Benioff and Weiss - nothing more, nothing less.

I gave up Dexter along season 3. Season 4 was incredible. But don't watch it past that. It's all downhill.

Lost has one of the best finales of all time and everyone I know in real life that watched the show, which was pretty much everyone, loved it. Definitely in the top 10. Consider that most shows don't really get a finale at all and just stop (ahem, Sopranos) or the writers lose interest (GOT) or the show goes on too long and no cares anymore (WD) or get too attached and can't kill the main (Dexter) or ends up in endless recycling (Discovery). There are better finales, Cheers, All in the Family, MASH, but not many.

It was ok. I felt that the show pretty much answered all the major questions but honestly I didn't like nature of the flash sideways so the reveal was bit meh for me.
Everything that took place on the island was great. Jack telling Desmond that "all of this matters" was awesome.

I gave up Dexter along season 3. Well you did miss one of the show best seasons. Season 4 of Dexter was great.
