Thoughts on this one?
Finally got around to seeing it myself. Really enjoyed it, especially the racing bits. That scene in the final race at night in the rain - cinematic beauty.
A little too long, but I really liked it.

Great film with some fantastic acting by Bale and Damon, and yes that final scene was beautiful.

I dug it a lot. Not really an auto racing guy so quite a few moments took me by surprise. Which I appreciated.

I loved it. I bought the DVD the day it was released, and started a quote thread for the movie which was a lot of fun. |

It's tied for my #1 movie of 2019 (with 'El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie') and is within my Top 79 movies in general. but prior to seeing it... I did not expect to like it more than Rush (2013) (7/10) which was my previous #1 movie of the genre. so I was pleasantly surprised when I ended up giving Ford v Ferrari a 7.5-8/10. ill likely be re-watching it sometime in the next month or two but I don't expect it to drop off.
p.s. the only Bale movies worth mentioning for me are... Hostiles/Ford v Ferrari. both are within my Top 79 movies and are basically my #1 movie in their respective years (i.e. 2018/2019).
