I may spell this wrong, but I'm watching "Pon Phar" or something? It's the one where Spock has to return to Vulcan to mate. That's " Amok Time", the first episode of Season 2, and a very good one!

^^ I'm watching that one now. They just gave each other Nazi salutes!
Ha. Try getting away with that today.
See, this is another reason I enjoy watching the original, classic TV and movies, - to see things that were done that we no longer do. There's this hiccup in time we get to observe...….without actually......waiting to....live....through them....at once. lol

Now I'm watching Catspaw where there's a wizard and a cat that transforms into Sylvia, some type of super powered being going into female form and cat form. But what's odd is that her transformation into human form using the "transmuter" seems to come as a big surprise to her partner, yet this whole planet has only two inhabitants, and he knows she's some type of feline shape shifter. EDIT: Ooooohhh, I see. They're actually little bird like critters in their natural state without the illusion using the "transmuter" wand.

I absolutely loved it when I first discovered it in re-runs in the early 80s, but today I can no longer watch an entire episode. It's too dated, most of the storylines are silly bordering on idiotic, and William Shatner's acting is atrocious. I still give it the respect as founder of the franchise (franchise - what an awful word). And it has its iconic moments and ideas. But I grew up with TNG. PS: But I always like the episode titles of the show.

Now I'm watching Catspaw ... You're going through the series at warp speed. You'll be ready for the IMDB v2.1 Movie Quotes board in no time!

I just watched Miri. I know a lot of fans hate but it's always been a favorite of mine. The idea of life prolongation and then the devastating consequences.
And those splotches on the skin scared the crap out of me as a kid.

Well, last one before bed is, The Deadly Years.
They're all aging extremely fast, even at only 13 minutes in! Some are dying.
Of course, although everyone is aging in various ways, Kirk manages to be the only one aging gracefully. He still has no problem pulling some twenty-something.
And it appears like Kirk has been issued a new Yeoman. Still blonde, but different woman (no basket weave of hair on her head).

Well, last one before bed is, The Deadly Years. I've read that Dr. Carol Marcus (played by Bibi Besch) was originally Dr. Janet Wallace (played here by Sarah Marshall), in an early draft of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

The Trouble With Tribbles!
This is the episode I've been waiting for. What's odd is that for some reason I thought it was our mischief maker Harry Mudd that was responsible for the Tribbles. (my bad).

A Piece of the Action
What's funny is I was watching something completely unrelated, and I think this episode of ST was filmed on the same set as Mayberry (you can see Floyd's Barber Shop as the crew walk past a bunch of stores). However, I see them walking past what looks like the same set of Singin' in the Rain.
I'm sure many sets get used and re-used for many movies and TV-series.

Uuuggghhhh. I was watching The Immunity Syndrome and had to skip to the next episode. They've done this before in at least one (maybe even two) episodes, but for an effect they emit this high-pitched frequency noise for an extended period of time which is being used as by some alien life form as a disarming method or to drive the crew nuts.
But I can't handle high-pitched voices or noises in general as it is. It's like shrink-wrapping my brain or driving a screwdriver into my left ear through my skull.
If it were for 1 second, mmmmaybe. But they go on, and on, and onnn. I found myself constantly grabbing the remote to turn the volume way down or off until I could see the actors stop grabbing their heads.
