Rather than a bird watcher asking a Karen to follow the park byelaws, shouldn't you be a bit more concerned about... 100,000 dead and rising. The police murder of George Floyd. Your president just now threatening to shut down social media in the US. Proper dictator style.

How's he going to entertain himself without Twitter?

Did he really just do that? Yes he did. Hysterical.
Reading it now.
Sounds like he's accusing social media platforms of being biased against conservatives.
He gets more entertaining by the day.

Threatening to shut down social media is a bit concerningly fascistic don't you think? If I were you I would hide that router under the stairs, along with a radio.

She doesn't have the dog any more and has been suspended from her job.
She is a bit of a racist and she was hurting the dog so I don't feel much sympathy for her.

It was off the lead in an area with signposts saying that was not allowed.

Let me to put like this.
Say you're in your car and you come across a woman jaywalking (crossing a street in the middle not at an intersection - I'm not sure if they use that term over there).
Would you get out of your car and ask the woman to please use the crosswalk? If she ignored your request - would you then bait her child with candy and tell him/her to 'Come here'?
I'd frantically lose my sh*t too in this situation.

That analogy is so not the same thing.

I don't think jay-walking is a crime here. People just cross the road wherever they like. Road traffic still has priority though. As for the rest, I don't really care that much!

Thank you.
Nor should Christian Cooper have cared that much.
After politely asking her to leash the dog and she didn't - he should have just shook his head and went on his way.
He made a mountain out of a molehill and acted like a complete Drama Queen - baiting the woman's animal and then filming her in the process.

Jesus - I'd hate to be a driver over there - sounds like you're playing dodgeball and it's just a lawsuit waiting to happen for some bum in need of money to throw himself in front of a car.

The short answer to this question is no. Many of us are stepping outside once a day to make the most of our exercise regime during this difficult time. It is a good time to remind ourselves how to observe the law and keep safe when it comes to pedestrians and drivers.

Ned's wrong. There are (very) limited circumstances in which pedestrians do have the right of way.
