I'm sorry you've run this non-sports topic 8 pages just so you can get posters to blame the victim or get other posters to agree that someone shouldn't stand up for what's right in public because the victim did something inappropriate all the while ignoring that the perp escalated the situation far beyond their initial interaction. I'm sure you're just sitting their bored at home or work being 'entertained' by the 'theater' of this thread. See ya.

Stop acting like what he did and what she did are equal. What do you want here? What are you seeking in this thread that you haven’t gotten already? Yes, the entire thread and board acknowledges not to feed another’s dog. But essentially initiating an action that can get the dog feeder shot by cops is worse. Do you get that? Because we get what you’ve been saying over and over again on this thread. We get it. Don’t feed someone else’s dog. You die on that hill, have your Braveheart moment. What is next on your itinerary, you upset that that black guy’s neck in Minnesota could have injured that cop’s knee? |

Just reported - Amy Cooper sued a romantic interest for $65,000 previously and it turns out the story was fabricated.
Turns out she may not be racist - but just is flat out nuts making false accusations.

This is the first thread about this molehill incident to mention her Uber-Hysteria which escalated as she talked to the 911 operator even tho the filmer had not made a move closer to her !
Bad High School acting and watching too many TV 911 calls.

One person staring at you is one person. Recording you and posting it online is an annoyance amplified potentially by a factor of millions. And even if you're in public it's an invasion of your privacy. It's totally understandable if you don't care for your privacy, but you also have to understand that other people do. But again, she's still a piece of shit. I guarentee you don't know anyone who gets a million views, let alone millions. And even if you do, the last thing they would do to get views is videotape you crossing the street. However, if someone is committing a crime, or breaking a socially accepted norm, I fully understand why *they* wouldn't want to be filmed doing so. But if you're out in public, you're probably already being videotaped. But oh no, that person with the goofy hat is pointing their phone at me!!! This lady ended up getting millions of views. That's the whole point isn't it? Isn't that what we are discussing? And yeah, you are probly being recorded everywhere we go. And we shouldn't all be OK with that. This is the same argument as, 'I don't care if the police do weekly, unprompted searches of my house, I'm not doing anything wrong.' It's an obviously horrible way to think. But again. Fuck this lady. |

If you notice - that's when she completely flipped and lost it.
There could be many many reasons why she didn't want to be filmed - the situation with the ex lover above I mentioned could have very well been one of them.

Fuck this lady. Well, I'd say someone you don't know videotaping you is a little more than a stone's throw away from the police searching your house. Clearly they would mess it up in their search, and then I would be inconvenienced to have to clean it up. They could also plant evidence. That happens, and that would inconvenience me. We may be talking about 2 different things with videotaping. I am 100% ok with videotaping someone who is breaking a law or a policy of the place they are visiting. You seem to think that is unfair? Further, I am perfectly fine with someone videotaping me sitting on a bus, walking on the sidewalk, or buying groceries. I can tell you are not ok with that.
