How long were you there? What animals did you see? Were any of the animals very active? Is the zoo you went to nice? Did you eat anything while you were there? Did you visit the gift shop? Did you buy anything? Do you want to go back soon? Do you think you will go back soon? Did the animals look happy? For around 5 hours. I saw the wolves. They were not very active. It's nice, it's beautiful. Yes, we ate a lot. We visited the gift shops. I didn't buy anything. I want to go back there now in the summer. I think I will. They looked beautiful.

When was the last time you went to the zoo?
Summer 2015.
How long were you there?
A few hours, I guess.
What animals did you see?
Lots. Lions, tigers, elephants, chimps ornagutans, hippos, rhinos, etc.
Were any of the animals very active?
Some were.
Is the zoo you went to nice?
Yes. It's a lovely zoo that has been extensively redesigned over the last 20-25 years and the animals have a lot of space. The apes live on islands and animals such as giraffes, zebras and rhino are kept in a single, large open compound.
Did you eat anything while you were there?
Yes. I had my dinner. Chicken.
Did you visit the gift shop?
I don't think so, but am not 100% sure.
Did you buy anything?
No.
Do you want to go back soon?
Someday. Not for a while though.
Do you think you will go back soon?
No.
Did the animals look happy?
Eh, they looked fine to me.

While it’s been some time that I’ve been to the zoo properly, it must be over 20 years, I have seen some zoo animals since then.
In my town there is a walkway which leads over the local zoo. You could walk by the tiger compound and see the tigers underneath your feet. It was pretty cool. Sadly this is not the case anymore, a couple of years ago the tigers were relocated. The walkway still exists, but that part of the zoo is now devoid of animals, there is only an open-air restaurant there.

I visited the Central Park Zoo last summer with a friend. It’s a fine little zoo, though the rainforest building was almost unbearably hot. Saw sea lions, primates, lots of birds, grizzly and polar bears…
Most interesting animal was a snow leopard because we went to the exhibit and couldn’t see anything, so everyone else around us left, but my pal (who’s in veterinary school right now) told me to wait a while, and sure enough right from the corner of the exhibit a snow leopard started slinking towards us, oh so gingerly. It was a great sight, so of course it was ruined when crowds rushed back to the exhibit and the leopard ran off. Gah.
Yes, the animals seemed happy. I can’t think one of that didn’t—at least, other than that snow leopard when he saw all those people.

I know it was in Seattle. I think it was the fall of 2018. I really enjoyed myself and wanted to be there all day.

Many many years ago, safari parks may be an unwanted necessity but zoos are an abomination.

More than 20 years ago. It really stunk. Same. I hardly ever remember what I saw there, but I remember the stinky smell in the air lol.

Last time I went was last year. I stayed the entire afternoon. I saw a lot of animals, it's a big zoo. If you'd like to know, I saw Gelada monkeys "getting it on". Most of the animals were out and about. The zoo in my hometown is beautiful and very modern. I think I ate some French fries and also bought something to drink. I did not visit the gift shop, and therefore did not buy anything. I wanted to go back this spring, but I guess I have to postpone it to later this year. So yes, I'd like to go back soon. The animals had a lot of space and looked very content.

How long were you there? What animals did you see? Were any of the animals very active? Is the zoo you went to nice? Did you eat anything while you were there? Did you visit the gift shop? Did you buy anything? Do you want to go back soon? Do you think you will go back soon? Did the animals look happy? When was the last time you went to the zoo? Summer of 2000. How long were you there? I have absolutely no idea! What animals did you see? I really wanted to see the wolves, but they where nowhere near to be seen that day. Were any of the animals very active? Not as I can remember. Is the zoo you went to nice? Yeah, I think so. Probably the biggest and most famous one in Norway and been there twice in my lifetime. Did you eat anything while you were there? Yup, what exactly, I have no idea of right now. Did you visit the gift shop? I might have, but I was there with my school class, so not a lot of time to go shopping that day. Did you buy anything? Not that I remember. Do you want to go back soon? Yeah, maybe in a few years or so, but it is a while away from where I live, so it is not just a short trip, but again, I had a good time when I was visiting both times. Did the animals look happy? Well, kind of hard to tell, since first time I was there, I was just 5-6 years old, and the other time I was maybe 14-15 and with my school class, but I thought the animals had it nicely put out for them, with lots of food, space and the people who worked there, seemed to really care for the animals, which I think is very important as well.
