If you play a game on something like retron2 or anything like that, and you play a game where it has to save with a battery. Eventually the system will shut off for no reason and malfunction, causing you to lose all save files instandtly… Then like 20 hours of saved game time will be lost. If you play a game with no battery it's non issue, though.

Aw man what were you playing? I think the only game I have for NES that has that feature is Final Fantasy.

I think the reason why it happened i left it on for like 7 hours. For some reason i did that. Maybe it made it overheat. Or game is just buggy. Now on, only play for one hour at the most.

I've played two games with the battery save. The Legend of Zelda and Baseball Stars. I had zero issues with Zelda, but Baseball Stars was horrible. My cousin and I played that game for two straight summers and could never finish a full season because it would always erase at some point.
