I am factoring in things like Spotify and Pandora etc.
Don't state your favorite platform. I want the station in which you tune into on said platform.
2000's Pop? 90's Rock? 80's Rock? etc.
What station is your go to?

If I want music I tend to tune in to BBC Radio 2... They have shows like Johnny Walker's Sounds of the 70s, Craig Charles Funk and Soul, a blues show, a folk show, etc.

I personally go with the 90's station.
Hit me with the Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox Twenty, No Doubt, Blackstreet, Usher, Mariah Carey etc.
Also, I LOVE the 90's one hit wonders. Lisa Loeb and Duncan Sheik etc.

WUUQ 97.3 Classic Country, playing out of Chattanooga. Sadly stopped working on my Internet Radio for some reason but still pick it up on tune-in from time to time.
Triple J, playing out of Sydney. Plays more indie stuff / electronica. Good station to pick up new sounds from.

So, from this we learn...
We're a bunch of old bastards, variously stuck in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, or 1990s.
The 80s is still up for grabs if anyone listens to an 80s music station 🤷♀️

Only radio I ever listen to is Stuart Maconie's "Freak Zone" on Sunday nights and Punk FM on the internet. Although I am currently playing about 200 old John Peel shows covering 1977-1980.

BBC Radio 3 not that I listen to it all that often. I used to, somewhat to my surprise, enjoy my local pop station, Radio Forth, on a Saturday morning, when I lived in Edinburgh. You can't go wrong with a spot of Perry, Swift and such for an hour or so.

Yeah, listening to some of the old shows where young ladies have written in can remind you of how much times have changed and do come over rather creepy. Still the greatest and most influential broadcaster ever though. His love of finding and passing on new sounds has never come close to being equalled. The man genuinely changed my life.

I get the sense that nobody here listens to current music. That's awesome. I cant think of the latest up to date song I heard and liked. Certainly isnt anything from the popular groups or artists that's for sure.
