Three is not enough for Albert Finney... I went with Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, Two for the Road and Shoot the Moon. Hardest to leave out: Under the Volcano, The Dresser. Miller’s Crossing, Ellen Brockovich.

Yes, this one was tough... I really enjoy these polls and hope movieman keeps them coming, but considering we can choose five for the likes of Ben Affleck and Jude Law, three for an actor of Finney’s calibre seems cruel! |

I'm less upset at the lack of choices and more at what's winning. His performance in Murder on the Orient Express gave me a headache.

Yes, this one was tough... I really enjoy these polls and hope movieman keeps them coming, but considering we can choose five for the likes of Ben Affleck and Jude Law, three for an actor of Finney’s calibre seems cruel! It is because of the popularity level of the movies Ben Affleck and Jude Law are in. I know people here have seen many of those actor's movies. Many of his movies have less than 5,000 votes on IMDB, whereas most of Ben Affleck's movies have more than 50,000 votes. |

At the very least, considering someone with as long and respected a career as Albert Finney we should have the option of up to five choices. |

Skyfall and Casino Royale have the lead in the Judi Dench poll. Just saying. |

I’ve seen 23 Finney films, 20 for Law (more than I thought there) and 18 for Affleck! |
