I was going through my list of DVD's and noticed that many of my favorite films are actually ghost stories. What are your favorite ghost stories? Here is my list.
The Lady in White with Lukas Haas Truly, Madly, Deeply with Alan Rickman The Uninvited with Ray Milland Canterville Ghost with Charles Laughton High Spirits with Peter O'Toole Blithe Spirit with Rex Harrison The Frighteners with Michael J Fox Portrait of Jenny The Ghost and Mrs. Muir The Time of Their Lives (my favorite Abbott and Costello film) I Married a Witch Ghost The Others Ghost Story with Fred Astaire Somewhere in Time Several versions of A Christmas Carol
most of these films are very benign and I watch them every year when I have my "Halloween Film Fest" for one (me)
