In MRS. SERIAL KILLER, produced and directed by Shirish Kunder, a jealous police officer frames his ex-girlfriend's new husband of killing several people. She thinks that the only way to prove his innocence is by staging a similar murder, so that people will think the real culprit is still out there. But his DNA was placed on the crime scene. Wouldn't that make people think that there's a copycat killer? Regardless, Shirish Kunder wrote an intriguing plot, but sometimes the characters react to something shocking and they unrealistically pay attention to the least important aspect. And the last part becomes sillier and sillier by the minute. Shirish Kunder composed a catchy score, but there are a couple of moments where it doesn't fit. A lot of situations are very tense thanks to Shirish Kunder's editing (especially one involving a car, a transport truck and a person standing in the middle of the street), although some of his experimental choices merely distract. No, you're not a racist who thinks all South Asian names look/sound the same. I copied and pasted it. Ravi K. Chandran and Kiran Deohans' cinematography (so there is something Shirish didn't do) is stunning! 6/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog.
