Clint Eastwood turned 90 yesterday. I think I am going to watch "High Plains Drifter" in his honour. I looked up his filmography to find a movie that he directed and starred in, that I haven't seen before, and that I own on DVD or Blu-Ray. This one seems the best choice.

Happy 90th, Clint!
I just watched two of his films for the first time, Kelly's Heroes, which was not bad, and High Plains Drifter, which is better and a unique western.

Happy 90th to a legend.
Here's a question, most underrated Eastwood film?
I'm going with Honkytonk Man.

I like High Plains Drifter a lot.
I could NOT enjoy it after the scene 15 minutes in where he rapes a woman. Later when we understand what is going on we can see how the rape fits with the story, but to see the protagonist do something so abhorrent in the beginning when you assume he is a good guy was just too jarring.
