For about the last two years I have immersed myself in film noir and B-crime films from 1930-1959. Many, many of those can be found on line - chiefly YouTube - so I have been tapping that resource frequently. Just recently, though, I have been branching out a little more so getting away from on line streaming. Still, always check out YouTube for availability of obscure movies.

Very rarely, unless it's something I can find only online.
Except...
...for the last couple weeks while our cable TV boxes have been acting up. They got new ones to us this week and I just finished fiddling with them, but they're still giving us only partial service. Back to the telephone to talk to someone who'll ask me the same questions: "Have you tightened your cables? Have you unplugged the box, waited 30 seconds and plugged it back in? Have you tried restarting the box from the 'Troubleshooting' page on our website?"
- "Oh, yes, I've done all that. And by the way, how's the weather today in Rajshahi?"
Fortunately, we also get full wireless TV service to our computers, so I've been able to watch what I want, but my desk chair sure ain't as comfortable as the chairs in the den or the sofa in the media room. One bonus to that, though: I tend to fall asleep less frequently while watching.

TV problems for two years, so, a lot. After six months they finally managed to repair my TV properly. But four days after I had given up and bought a new one.

I hate watching a movie on a small screen-but I have been watching movies on a laptop-and connecting it to the tv (because my media box has broken down). I really miss that box.

My computer is my TV since the early 00s, so almost all the time.
