Drew Brees somehow still cant comprehend why people were kneeling during the national anthem. As if his voice is the one needing to be heard right now or that message. Got multiple athletes even some of his own teammates calling him out on it.
I'm posting on my phone so cant link everything. But I think you get the picture. Didnt Drew basically get Kenny Stills off the team for kneeling? Drew has zero awareness of this issue.

I don’t really think Brees is racist, he’s been a good citizen. But he is completely fucking tone deaf and clueless to say that.

Drew Brees is a guy who worships God and has strong patriotic feelings.....and these days he is ridiculed for it.
Yeah, we're really moving forward as a society, aren't we?

And Kaepernick was kneeling to protest police brutality to black people. So, yeah, we're definitely not moving forward as a society when flags and windows still remain more important than rooting out racist cops.

Kaep wasn’t promoting violence and destruction you stupid asswipe, he was engaging in a peaceful protest, and you condemned that because you care more about a piece of cloth than about the lives of black people murdered by thug cops. About Brees, he’s a typical evangelical god wad so it isn’t surprising he is spewing stupid right wing shit regarding this issue, I don’t think he’s a racist but I do think he’s something of a moron. I’m glad even his own teammates have called him out on this, and I’m hoping more players kneel when the season comes around. This is another reason to hate the Saints, let’s go Falcons!!!!

Apparently new Safety Malcolm Jenkins posted a video telling Brees to "shut up" only I guess delete it and post another one. Saw someone tweet that he was gonna be on CNN if anyone was interested in looking that up.

I am white so I don’t have the same experience as black people, but if I was black I would think that maybe it is time to resort to violence. White people bitched at the peaceful kneeling so what choice is left to blacks? Should they say thank you if a cop only wings them?

It is refreshing to see athletes speak back on this especially star athletes and even teammates. I dont think I've seen anyone suggesting he's racist. Just mostly ignorant with no grasp on the current situation of the country.

Brees said that he was unaware of Focus On the Family's anti-LGBTQ message when he shot the ad for "Bring your Bible to School Day." Yeah, right.

Screw you, bozo. Where have I said anything about Kaepernick on this, or any, thread? And where on any thread have I said anything defending racist cops? Christ, with so many of you here, it's either you're all in on one side or the other. There is no gray area. If I say something defending Trump, I get labeled a racist. If I say something defending Drew Brees, then I'm siding with racist cops. Life is so much more complicated and complex than just black and white, but maybe that's why we have so many problems. Not enough people understand this simple fact.

Well, there's always the possibility of not putting yourself in a position where you even have to deal with the cops, but I'm sure saying this makes me a racist. The most intelligent thing I've ever heard about cops came from a line in a Bob Dylan song......"the cops don't want you, and they expect the same". Kind of wise words when you think about it.

So did Breonna Taylor put herself in a position to be confronted by cops?
