Wouldn't you say it's too close to call if the prelogy or episodes 7, 8, and9 are better? Because I don't know if it has been asked here before, but anyway I feel like asking it now. Even though it probably has been brought up here before.
Personally it's too close of a call for me, but I am in the minority.

Even with all their flaws the prequels win for me

Tough one. The prequels are definitely more coherent, but the actual filmmaking (directing, acting, set-design, etc.) were much better in the sequels. Think I’ll lean towards the sequels since I liked the characters more and I cringed less at the bad parts than I did during the prequels. Even though it was a blatant rehash, I think TFA is the best-made of these 6 films, which isn’t really saying much.
What’s funny to me is that these trilogies seem to have opposite problems in terms of how they were made: The sequels are like a ship with a competent crew but no captain, while the prequels are like a ship where the captain has too much control over everything (including the things he doesn’t know how to do).

While we’re at it, what do people think of the other 3 films? The Clone Wars (2008 movie) Rogue One Solo

I say the PT was better, sure it was a bit of a let down due to execution but the story is there, it's just not well captured, the ST however was both a let down and a slap in the face, they all either rehash or undermine the past movies and characters while they don't bring anything new to the table, except inferior copies of previous characters.
The difference is the PT is a solid but rough looking piece of furniture that will last for ages, the ST is like something out of IKEA it looks good but there is all this leftover stuff you didn't use and it's break within 2 years, one is substance with no flash the other flash but not substance imo.

The prequels are a more coherent trilogy.

Actually I was just jokin' it's not close to me really. Too close to call, nope. In other words it's not even close which one is better imo.

While we’re at it, what do people think of the other 3 films? The Clone Wars (2008 movie) Rogue One Solo Clone Wars movie is pretty meh. Not worth a watch, but some enjoyment can be had. Rogue One is a good but somewhat dull movie. I enjoy it, though. The action is really good and it still feels like Star Wars. Solo is an above average action movie, but a subpar Star Wars movie. I like the effort all around, but it just wasn’t necessary from the beginning.

The prequels and its not close. They dont insult and degrade legacy characters like they did in ST. The new series of movies are an agenda driven pet project for that talentless hack KK.

I finally saw "Rise of Skywalker" last weekend for the first time. Unlike the sequel trilogy, the prequels actually tell a coherent story and get better as they progress.
