Mysteries of Lisbon (despite not having seen anything else from Ruiz) and Eyes Wide Shut are the two standouts for me. Third pick of those would probably be Once Upon A Time in America.
Personal favorites without thinking too much would be The Turin Horse (Tarr), An Autumn Afternoon (Ozu) and INLAND EMPIRE (Lynch)
