See now that I find to be interesting. I'm not familiar with the guy (Johns) or his studio footprint/reputation or whatever, but I always got the vibe that he was a pretty talented guy that was trying to spark creativity and cohesion with the DCEU.
Didn't he do some of the more popular DC comics recently?

I think Ayer's timeline was broken way before hand anyway, Robbie was just 25 playing a supposedly fully fledged psychiatrist with enough of a reputation that she was entrusted to deal with The Joker all on her own, and then she's meant to have broken Joker out been with him for a significant portion of time, been captured and incarcerated for another significant portion of time, even if you adjust for her age when the movie release she's still only 26, how exactly does she fit into being able to attend med school, get her doctorate, then supposedly complete her residency and then become established enough that she is trusted to deal with Joker...this seems more out of place than her being an accomplice to Robins murder, given that I don't think we are ever told when Robin was murdered were we?

Her being an accomplice to the murder of Robin doesn’t work because Ayer has said that the Joker got his metal teeth after his real teeth were punched out by Batman for Robin’s death. Ayer even said that the Joker got the forehead tattoo because of that as well.
