Some familiar faces and a couple new ones. TEXT: "..Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige confirmed that the former Fox properties are on their way to the MCU at San Diego Comic-Con last year, but we haven't really heard anything else since then in terms of who will be making it to the big, or small, screen in the next few years. The MCU's alleged X-Men line-up includes Thunderbird, Storm, Cyclops, Havok, Nightcrawler, Marvel Girl (Jean Grey), and Sunfire." movieweb.com/x-men-team-characters-mcu-marvel-movie/

Cyclops was one of the prominent "symbols" in the original Fox trilogy as well as on the promotional material for it, so I would vote for him. He is the "prime" X-Man.

Rumor has it that Psylocke will be in Shang Chi, but I've also heard that Spiral will be in that movie. I'm wondering if they saw an actress that's in the movie and is making a guess on who she could be.

Nice line up mostly either unused or underutilised characters over the last 2 decades worth of movies, Jean being the exception, maybe she'll play a more secondary role this time around and allow Cyclops and Storm more prominence as neither really matter much to the stories over the last 20 years.
I also hope they hold off on Magneto for a while, he would be a great 3rd movie villain or movie 3 end credit scene leading into a second trilogy of movies depending on how deep they want to run on X-Men films, glad to see not Logan as that character needs to be given time to recharge before Marvel brings him into the fold imo.
Also be nice to see the brotherly dynamic of Cyclops and Havoc this time around if this line up is accurate.

Also be nice to see the brotherly dynamic of Cyclops and Havoc this time around if this line up is accurate. The rumor for it is that it's basically Giant-Size X-men. Like they are doing in order of the comics but is skipping the original line up part of their history. And that goes for Magneto (trilogy ender maybe?), also. Because your reasoning is the same reasoning it is said to be.
As for Logan, I'm thinking they might have him on his own before he joins the X-men. If they make an Incredible Hulk 2 out of nowhere then it might be a safe bet that Logan will be in that. lol

If Jean appears before she's in an X-men movie, she might be in the same role as Wanda in Civil War.

Seems to be all about hype like spiderman homecoming and we know how inferior those films turned out to the Raimi films.
notice no one in the media is talking about xmen stories itself.
that is the problem with mcu and why many directors hate it. its all about hype marketing machine and selling the cinematic universe angle that has zero film making angle, its all about that than telling a real story that can stand on its own.
It will be a shame when mcu xmen is out and most people complain of the inferiority it is to X-Men 1 that was actually a real movie not a Disney product.

Media is not talking about it because there's barely any plan for it as of now. Is that too hard for you to figure out?

Yeah strange how no one, except those that are obviously, are only talking about the line up of the characters and not the potential stories which could be told, even though the potential stories are directly tied to the characters who are involved, and that it's a movie or show or whatever which hasn't been officially announced, hasn't got an official writer, director or cast assigned, it's purely in the development stage right now and the fact is that most people don't recognise the stories they recognise the characters and so will click articles promoting that rather than possible story ideas.
Besides all but 1 of the X-Men team up movies stories can be summed up into this one sentence, Prof Charles Xavier and his X-Men fight to protect human and mutant kind from the genocidal actions of "insert villain here" and Magneto.
So probably most just assume that's going to be the same here, Xavier and his X-Men vs. Magneto Vs. someone else or X-Men Vs. Magneto everything else is just a new skin on an old story we have been watching for 20 years now.
