Yes. It took me a moment to see it myself. Master Saesee Tiin and Master Kit Fisto are both brandishing green lightsabers. (First color) Master Agen Kolar is brandishing a blue lightsaber. (Second color) Lord Sidious/Palpatine brandishes his red Sith lightsaber. It extends from the right side of his body. (Third color) The angle of the blades extending from his body gives the appearance of a double-bladed red lightsaber. But it’s a freak coincidence. Remember, he has a single-bladed lightsaber. The (short) lightsaber extending from the left side of Palpatine is actually Master Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber (and he is totally shielded out of the shot). (Fourth color)

It doesn't exist in the Lucas' canon. George Lucas said good guys use blue/green, bad use red. Samuel L. Jackson convinced him into purple. Beyond that, no other colors.

Said many years before Episode 9. Right. That's why I said 'It doesn't exist in Lucas' canon.' The Clone Wars was part of Lucas's canon and there were yellow, white, and black lightsabers in that show.

Said at one time by Lucas, who has changed his mind on so many things over the years, Vader wasn't originally Anakin but he changed his mind and now yes Vader is Anakin, pretty sure Luke and Leia weren't originally siblings, but come ROTJ Lucas decided to make them brother and sister, so what he thought at one point doesn't matter if he changed his mind later and made something else officially canon, Lucas was heavily involved in Clone Wars so anything shown or set up in that IS canon even if you want to try the "Lucas canon" argument.

Back to lightsabers, originally there was only blue and red. "Bad guys" didn't even have lightsabers if they werent former Jedi like Vader (it's constantly referred to as a "Jedi weapon"). The only reason Luke's was green in RotJ is because they couldn't make blue work in the VFX during the desert scenes, or so I heard.

I think Sam Jackson is a fool for asking for a purple lightsaber and Lucas is even more foolish for acquiescing. There was once blue, green and red and that’s it. And that was better.

General Grievous was a special case because he stole his from Jedi he had defeated.

I don’t care for Rey getting a yellow lightsaber, but I think it’s even weirder that they waited until the very end of the movie to give it to her. What’s even the point? Why not just give her a double-bladed lightsaber? That’s what Colin Trevorrow was going to do.
