Cody Rhodes was taken to within an inch of his wrestling life by Jungle Jack Perry in a match for preservation in the archives. This kid was raised in the jungle and fights like a tiger; he even neutralised the threat posed by Maxwell Jacob Friedman at ringside and disrespected Cleveland destroyer Wardlow. Respect was felt as it rumbled all around the arena.

Meanwhile, Best Friends watched at ringside as Jimmy Havoc & Superbad Kip Sabian took on tag team champs, Adam 'Hangman' Page and Kenny Omega in a one-fall only Championship match with a 60-minute time limitation. Penelope Ford was ejected from ringside early in the match, seemingly in part because she's been flagged for so many violations of late - either way, strong decision by the referee who performed competently.
With FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) having just been signed and on a mission to hunt down the Young Bucks, they quickly instigated a grudge match with the Butcher and the Blade, so who knows where this feud could go. But for now, Omega and the Hangman only have one thing on their minds, and that's the dual threat posed by the Best Friends, while Freshly Squeezed is gunning for Chris Jericho and Jake Hager.

Loved the match on Wednesday night.
Had to answer a tough question. "Is the pole so hard that it would make somebody bleed?
Sorry, I actually said they hold razors in their pockets and cut themselves.

Do you think it was the old razor cut, like documented in 'The Wrestler' (2008) with Mickey Rourke? Could be.
I only just learnt that Jungle Jack Perry's the son of the late Luke Perry, tv star from Ohio. By all accounts, Luke Perry was a really nice guy, tough, but fair. I hope Jungle Boy reaches the top eventually, he's so entertaining and you can see he gives it his all.

He's his father's son. The face from Luke, the curl's maybe from his mom. I'm not %100 sure on the blood. I do remember the match between Cody and Dustin in the first AEW PPV. What a match. Dustin must have been bleeding at least 20 minutes throughout that match.

Bleeders is kind of a TNT thing, isn't it, that's now with AEW. I remember seeing a match with Kurt Angle in TNT where he was so drenched in blood you couldn't even see his face and he was loving it.

And sadly, another Combat Zone wrestler died, Iowan Danny Havoc, former champion was just 34 and lost his wife in April. A lot of Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan's old friends and in-ring adversaries are already dead.
