Good idea for a thread. Spread the news about where classic shows can still be seen.
The Grit cable channel runs a lot of classic westerns like:
The Rifleman Tales of Wells Fargo Wanted: Dead or Alive The Virginian Laramie Death Valley Days Zane Grey Theater Bret Maverick Hawkeye
On the Cozi channel you can find:
The Munsters Make Room For Daddy Charlie's Angels The Bionic Woman The Six Million Dollar Man Roseanne, Murder, She Wrote, and The Nanny (personally, the '90s are not "classic" to me)
On Get-TV
Good Times All In The Family Sanford and Son Also some '80s and ,90s shows like Walker-Texas Ranger and Married...With Children

I only get MeTV and I get to see a lot of the shows listed above.
I enjoy The Rifleman, Maverick, Perry Mason, M*A*S*H, Andy Griffith, Carol Burnett, Gomer Pyle, 1-Adam-12, Columbo, Ponderosa, and several other westerns that I can't think of off hand.
I'm not a western fan, but there's something about watching them on MeTV that I actually enjoy and I can't figure that out.
So strange seeing Clint Eastwood with a baby face.

I no longer get Antenna TV but a few years ago it broadcast The Jack Benny Program and Gidget - two favorites. They also had The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin. Didn't care too much for it, even though a neighbor won one of Rinty's pups. I have a picture of him with the pup, Lt Rip Masters, and Cpl Rusty.

Out of a 1 hour program which used to have 51 minutes run time now has to be like 42 minutes. That is 9 minutes of the program that has to be edited out and 4-5 minutes for sitcoms to make time for more commercials. That is a lot.

That's one of the reasons I bought the DVDs for my favorite classic series. The other main reason is that I can watch on my own schedule. I'm in the process of a solo DVD rewatch of "The Wild Wild West". I'm also doing a DVD rewatch of the original "Hawaii Five-O" with friends. I own all four seasons of the former and Season 1-9 of the latter.

I also prefer watching things at my own pace and schedule.
