Stephen Colbert had the funniest story about Jennifer Garner. Apparently, before she became successful as an actress she was briefly a babysitter for Colbert and his wife. So when she hit it big with Alias, Colbert showed his wife the cover of some magazine with her on it and said "that was our babysitter," and Colbert's wife replied "That's Jennifer Garner? Beautiful, but very talented as well. She was a great Susanna in my favorite video-version of Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, as well as a great Fiordiligi in one of my favorite video-versions of Mozart's Cosi fan tutte. Can't find any of those online, but here's her doing another Mozart as Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni: |
