How should I feel? I express as I see it, that is my truth. You're changing the subject again. I'm not telling you how to feel; I'm telling you how it feels for someone else to listen/read what you say. Do you honestly not know how to express yourself without phrasing it as an insult? Were you not taught manners as a kid? I don’t care to see homosexuality tarnished or given a false impression of It's called transgender. As in, a form of gender, not sexuality. Yes, both are part of the LGBT group, but they're still different concepts. Are there people who think they're the same thing? Yes, but there are also people who will find any excuse to hate on gay people, so you don't have to worry about how they perceive it. unless you are a homo vits, I am even more disinterested in your lack of context and faux posturing. So only gay people can think this way? 🤔

Take onus for how you feel yourself, not others. I am. What you said was insulting. Exactly, different concepts so keep it away from gay its out of context. All this LGBTQI.... crud is also being mismanaged by its own wrapped filtering of the founders. It is compartmentalising and labelling things away from what is NOT “truth”. So many words put together in a non-sensical way... My head is spinning! do you think it is ok for a Trans woman to compete with genuine women in sports and win medals of them? If a person has the same physique to make it a fair race, then yes. Cis women should be able to compete with cis men if the same situation applies. Why should acting categories for male and female be any different? Because no one is judging their strength or speed. It has to do with how believable they are as the character.

Linda Hunt managed to win best actress awards for playing a man. Rhetorical question ! Why was she cast as a man instead of having a man play the role ? Stunt casting in a main stream film (ie not John Waters type )

The Billy Kwan character is a Chinese-Australian male dwarf so she ticked 50% of the boxes.

The Billy Kwan character is a Chinese- Australian male dwarf so she ticked 50% of the boxes. Linda Hunt Born: April 2, 1945 in Morristown, New Jersey, USA Height 4' 9" (1.45 m) Borderline "The average height of an adult with dwarfism is 4 feet, but dwarfism could apply to an adult who is 4’10” or shorter. The term “short stature” is often preferred over “dwarfism” "
One box and that one is borderline

One box and that one is borderline Grrr... I got me facts mixed up. Apparent Joel Grey, Bob Balaban, and Wallace Shawn all auditioned for the part but she was probably more convincing at playing a dwarf while standing next to Mel Gibson (just under 5’ 10”).

StammerheadWell ... she did play him well and cannot imagine any of those other three in the role. Heaven forbid a totally unknown man be hired

gazillion actors to choose from and he hires a woman ... same thinking that uglifies a beauty to play a homely woman Weird ! Not really. Casting issues like that happen when someone isn't even given the opportunity to audition because someone with more privilege is automatically hired. Linda was hired after auditioning several men. Males in athletics in a trained, professional and competitive realm have by and large a stronger and more intense physique. That is why they have separate men’s and women’s categories. From a biological perspective, this will never be equal between the genders. Like I said, they have to look into that first. Not every single human has the same characteristics. There are plenty of couples where the woman is noticeably more athletic than the man. phony women competing with real women You must be fun at parties. they may as well just abolish film awards altogether. Because they're comparing performances based on how good the performance is? Why stop there? Why not have categories for other races? Or for performances in non-English-language movies?

It would depend on the sport itself and where professional training is undertaken, mix the genders, and it would be more than likely that males would dominate over the females. Do you not think that this hasn't already been attested too? Men are Women are different, T just wants to be different. I didn't say anyone should automatically be allowed to compete anywhere; I said that it can vary from case to case. Of course it's been tested before, but not with every single person. What has a party got to do with real women having their glory taken away from fake ones? And what glory would that be? How about best gay performance by a straight actor, or best straight performance by a gay actor? Sounds absurd! That's what I'm saying. That's why they should either keep the categories they have or combine them. Either way, they already allow all actors to compete and that's what shouldn't change.

Trans will want all the attention. They just want to be fabulous right! The identity of self, conflated with gender is narcissism run rampant. Look, I know we're all bored trapped in our houses without much to do outside, but it's still no excuse for you to come up with theories that aren't based in reality. Please, find a hobby or something. Competition that exists between actors and films in these award shows, is really all just born from phony hype and superficial insider politics. They need not keep them going. How convenient that you keep redirecting the subject.
