It’s easier to add hair than it is to “shave” his face. You can even add in a few lines that he was aware of everything (similar to how he’s shown listening in space). He wasn’t really dead. That they only jumpstarted him. Again, the problem is that he didn’t have a beard when they initially filmed the movie. If they were going to give him a beard in reshoots, then they wouldn’t be able to use any of the footage of him that they shot before reshoots took place. Every single one of his scenes in the movie would’ve had to be from the reshoots. And what I'm saying is that they can give him more hair over his stache/ unshaven bits and add facial hair to the scenes after he's brought back. It's easier to add the hair in the shot scenes than it is to take hair off in the reshoot scenes. Then you don't add any scenes before he died.

No because they could just digitally add facial hair to his face from the original scenes, adding layers is easier than removing them, this is used a lot in movies and TV without people noticing it, even just doing it where they have him redo the lines, without needing to redo the entire scenes so they could see and match how it looks when he says the lines with the facial hair, also would have resembled the actual look Superman had after resurrecting from the comics.

Seems like they are throwing Cavill under the bus because he had a contract to MI Fallout?
MOS was a great film, 1/2 or 2/1 with WW and Auqua 3. They sound like whiny CYA executives, if this story is accurate.
