Written, produced and directed by Samuel Fuller ,The Steel Helmet (1951) was the first American feature-length film about the Korean War. The Breen Office Production Code raised a number of objections to certain details & wording in the script. however in confronting racism maverick Fuller retained his original intent...
Gene Evans... Sergeant Zack: You talk more like a dog face than a gook.
William Chun... Short Round: I am no gook. I am Korean!

Sam Diamond: To me, you look like number two, know what I mean?
Dora Charleston: What DOES he mean, Miss Skeffington?
Tess Skeffington: I'll tell you later. It's disgusting.
