I never understood the intrigue - to each their own - seems to me like you're cheating death with these motor sports.

Do you mean the pilots or the spectators? The pilots, I agree - I can't relate at all to the "need for speed" that pilots must have in order to choose that career. As for the spectators, I don't dislike it. I don't follow it on TV anymore, but watching a race in person is quite spectacular. We have a Formula 1 race here in Montreal every year. I have only been once, but I would go more often if the good tickets weren't so damn expensive!

I love the way the race goes on, and "most of the spectators are unaware" of the huge explosion and fireball and smoke, and this guy is still all about the race and how many British drivers did well.
