I’m getting burned out on superhero films in general, or at the very least, I’m not as enthusiastic about them as I was five years ago.

I am more of a DC fan, but Marvel’s been doing great lately.

I have been tired of super movies for awhile, now.
That last one I saw in theater was Justice League (2017)

I think DC are generally better on Animated movies and tv series and live action tv series.
I think Marvel are generally better on live action movies
So overall i prefer DC
I can`t make a comment on which is better on comics as i have never read a DC or Marvel comics.
I would not say i am burned out on Marvel movies.

Obviously. 😊 I’ve been burned out on Marvel since, like...forever. I always preferred Marvel comics as more human. DC heroes were their characters with the secret identities as a break from heroing. Marvel were always the secret identity first. The hero identity was a job. Always seemed more relatable Spiderman is Peter Parker. Captain America & Steve Rogers are the same person. There would be no Cap without Steve.

Not burned out on them, currently in a lull period though due to DC still not fully knowing how/where they want to go with their shit, and the MCU is coming off of their biggest phase and are now prepping for a rebuilding period which means most of the old storylines have wrapped up and it's wait and see for new stuff. Makes sense on the burnout for some, for 30 years we were lucky if we got 2 cbm's a year in back to back years, hell I think we got more major cbm's in the last decade than we got between the 1970's all the way up till 2010, so burnout makes sense for some, luckily I am not one of those people

I'm tired of Marvel myself. DC is in a better position right now to just make whatever movie they want without setting things up for dozens of films.

Star Trek and Star Wars. DC is supposed to be Star Wars in that it should be full of fantasy and wonder and mythology. Marvel is the Star Trek where it is more the real world sci-fi with a little bit of fantasy. The DC animated movies and shows have embraced what makes DC good and that's why they do flourish. The movies... not so much. Wonder Woman, SHAZAM! and Aquaman did, though. And they are seen as the best (or more entertaining) of the larger than life DC movies. Marvel hit that sweet spot of covering sci-fi with a layer of fantasy.
