Nothing should be done. Not until the Mongolians recompense all those Asian and Eastern European countries whose people they slaughtered by the 100.000s. Or Turkey pays compensation to Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Serbia and Armenia among others for the crimes against humanity they committed against these poor folks during the Ottoman Empire. White people have no monopoly on violence, they never had. Human history has always been about the strong conquering the weak. Native Americans are just one in the long line of people who have fallen victim to violence and genocide in the course of history, they have no right to pretend their experience has been anything special. So you do not have a problem with genocide? |

Find the individuals responsible and hold them personally accountable.
Dispense with the morally reprehensible concept of 'Guilt by association'.
People who sit around being outraged about the past aren't doing anything to make the present moment better.

So you do not have a problem with genocide? No, I don't have a problem with genocide that happened centuries ago. No matter what we did today, we couldn't make it unhappen anyway. The only thing we can do is learn from it and trying to prevent it from happening in the future.
The world as it is today has enough current problems which would need our attention.

By similar skin color i assume you mean, 'race.' I belong to the human race. I don't feel accountable for what beings of other races have done. The human race has done quite enough throughout its own history to feel none too good about. Things can get compartmentalized and sensationalized way out of proportion, to appear as a distorted epidemic attributed to certain pockets of racial behavior. Appalling human behavior has happened in the past and appalling behavior is happening now and across ALL diversities. Wasting time and energy on crying outrage for what is seen as past wrongs, is only deflecting from present situation and using the past as a crutch to cry tears of faux pity and feeds off feelings of entitlements, self-absorption and even being pitiful. This is an establishment construct too regarding holding onto a status quo that is obviously not working and has become way transparent.
I will be accountable for my own attitudes and behaviors, not my entire racial species, when ALL have questionable attributes. |

And also not having equal rights for blacks until after martin luther king came around.
Just saying, would you say as far as slavery goes, whites are worse.
Slavery wasn't invented by white people, it had been happening since the beginning of time. Black people enslaved black people, brown people enslaved brown people, etc. etc. |
